A tipster gave us the heads up last week about some new construction at 2543-49 E Dauphin St., in Fishtown. We were especially pleased to get this email, because we noticed the foundations a few months ago and snapped photos, but had completely forgotten where they were.

On the 2000 block of E Dauphin St. in East Kensington (between Emerald and Coral St.), we got a tip about some partially constructed buildings where a warehouse and garage once stood.

As it turns out, this stalled project stretches all the way to Fletcher St.

Last Monday, South Philadelphia H.O.M.E.S Inc. organized a community zoning meeting, originally scheduled (but subsequently cancelled) for the week prior. On the agenda were seven projects for neighborhood residents to learn about, consider, and vote for or against. As many media outlets reported last
