The cutest little gas station we’ve ever seen looks like something out of a Hansel and Gretel picture book. In 1949, at the northern most point of Point Breeze Avenue, sat a Mobilgas station with one adorable car lift and prices that would bring most of us to tears. ($4 today? Really!?) What is currently a simple Engine No. 24 building looks much better as it was half a century ago, looking very similar to the old Engine 46 Steakhouse at 10 Reed Street.
