When we last checked in on 2101 Christian St. in October, we witnessed progress in the thoughtful rehab of an old three story row home. Much has changed in the past six months.

Looks like it's getting close

This corner, which we can only imagine was commercial once upon a time, will soon resume commercial activity with the opening of a sandwich shop. And this shop will be housed in a really nice building with some wonderful exterior details.

It's going to be such a welcoming entrance

As we said before, we like the mansard roof. And now, a first floor cornice. And a rather tasteful garage.

In an era where many rehabs are often unimpressive to say the least, we applaud the owners of this property for putting so much time and thought into this effort. Hopefully, others will learn from their example…
