Back in February we reported on the destruction of the AME church to build new townhomes at 723 and 731 S. 20th Streets. The actual addresses of the three-story homes are 1929-37 Fitzwater Street and 723 S. 20th Street and they will all have three bedrooms, three bathrooms, fiberglass roof decks and wood decks off the kitchens. Snazzy! Maria Quatrrone of Coldwell Banker shares with us that the exterior of the buildings will be brick and stone (similar to the homes on the 1400 block of Bainbridge) with unfinished oak hardwood flooring; Kohler drop-in tubs and marble walls and floors in the bathrooms; and Aristokraft cabinets, stainless steel under-mounted sinks and granite counters in the kitchen. 1929-35 Fitzwater Street will be 2,487 square feet; 1937 Fitzwater Street will be 2,632 square feet; and 723 S. 20th Street will be 2,555 square feet. The townhomes start at $679K and go up to $779K. Click here to see the floorplans from Harman Deutsche architects. —-Caitlin Connors
