The Philly Water Department is looking to its neighbors to vote for cute puppies and dogs to become the Manayunk Spokesdog. It may sound strange, but the contest is happening because PWD wants to show the importance of remaining eco-friendly and having owners clean up after their dogs to keep the waterways clean. The winning dog gets the title “Philly Water’s Best Friend” and will receive a $200 prize from Wag N Style in East Falls or a $200 certificate to a local pet shop Manayunk.
