Starr’s Frankford Hall to Open May 17th with ping pong tables

If someone was going to bring valet parking to Fishtown, you might as well suspect it’d be Stephen Starr, right? And when his new German-inspired Fishtown beer garden (which now has the official name of Frankford Hall) opens on May 17th, you’ll get much more than that. Two ping pong tables, three bars and nine taps (pouring a variety of traditional German beers, as well as some crafts), are all reported to be on deck at Starr’s newest eatery. The menu will feature a number of German meats as well as pretzels, salads and rotisserie chicken. And a huge 240-seat courtyard (that’s compared to the measly 160 seats indoors) will be lined with those four large, shade yielding Linden trees that we saw them hoisting in a few weeks ago. Frankford Hall is located at 1210 Frankford Avenue and will be open 4pm to 2am on weekdays and noon to 2am on weekends. —-Conrad Benner
