We last visited the intersection of 12th Street, Morris Street, and Passyunk Avenue in the spring, some time after news broke that A Man's Image would be moving from 1709 E. Passyunk Ave. after holding down the fort at this triangular parcel for six decades. You may recall, we told you that Barcelona, a Spanish wine and tapas restaurant owned by Barteca, would be opening their fourteenth location at this address. The building is larger than it looks and Barcelona will be one of the largest restaurants on Passyunk Avenue, with about 4,400 sqft of space.

Time has passed, and the store has closed at this location. If you find yourself in the area, you'll see that the building has been totally gutted. It's actually worth seeing in person, perhaps after enjoying some tasty food and drink nearby.

If you loved this store and wish you could still shop there, we have tremendous news. It appears that A Man's Image is moving to new smaller digs just about a block to the south, next door to the building that's rising where King of Jeans once reigned.

Pretty soon, you'll be able to enjoy a meal at Barcelona while wearing a newly purchased suit from A Man's Image. Who ever said that dreams can't come true?
