They have Art + Soulfood every year, are currently working on North28 and are eating from their Marathon Farm. Brewerytown is continually pushing forward as a community, but many Philadelphians still have no idea what B-town is all about. The boys behind MM Partners recently launched BrewertytownLiving.com online community to introduce people to the neighborhood. Brewerytown Living will be sponsoring free events in the neighborhood like Saturday’s Art + Soulfood, tonight’s movie night at Mugshots at 2831 W. Girard Avenue, Sunday’s DJ party with the renowned Cosmo Baker (the Philly native moved to Brooklyn to start The Rub collective) at Era Bar, a sunset jazz concert at the Veteran’s Memorial Park at 31st & Girard on the 21st and a doggie “Yappy” hour on the 28th with refreshments for both dogs and their owners at the grassy vacant lot 31st & Girard. And that’s just this month.

Brewerytown Living intends to repeat these events once a month, with some other special events mixed in throughout the summer. We hope to see some more outdoor movie nights (like the Schuylkill River Banks movie nights), but mostly just hope to see more Center City loyals treking just north of Fairmount to discover what our “new” neighborhoods have been up to. —Caitlin Connors
