At the end of October, Philly Cupcake closed their doors at 20th & South after less than a year in the space. We were obviously very disappointed to see the South Street West business close its doors, especially considering the success the corridor has had in the last few years. Passing by the other day, we did spot a touch of silver lining to this transition.

As you can see, the circus colors on the storefront have been eliminated, and replaced with something that resembles the building’s original color scheme. We’re gonna say that was a good call by the landlords, wouldn’t you agree?
