The second annual Clark Park Community Grants are now accepting proposals for projects to enhance the nine-acre park from permanent improvements to plants or signage. The grants will be awarded for one or more projects (up to $3K) and judging by last year’s winning improvements including the maintenance of 30 new trees by UC Green Corps, this year should bring in something the whole community can enjoy.

Individuals and community groups are invited to submit proposals, which will be reviewed by Friends of Clark Park, Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, the City of Philadelphia Department of Parks and Recreation, University of the Sciences, and UCD. The winning projects will be announced on Thursday, June 16 at a public celebration in Clark Park.
