Pad Thai Restaurant at 606 S. 2^nd Street is up for sale today. The 3,400-square-foot space is going for $3,400 a month plus utilities or $375K, which includes the liquor license and all furniture, fixtures and equipment. Right across from Hikaru and next to Fez Moroccan restaurant, Pad Thai has done pretty well over the years, but the cursed South Street seems to strike again. Where are people in Queens Village going to eat? They didn’t go to Cochon, or Gayle or Ava enough, and expensive is no excuse because even places like Pink Rose and Cosi couldn’t make it. I guess Queens Village inhabitants are just fans of Jim’s Steaks (*yack*).
