It’s been a few months since we last checked in at 19th & Poplar, on the giant 35-unit project we first told you about over the summer. At that time, demolition was taking place on the site. In September, there was framing taking place. Today, the project looks to be about half complete from the outside, and it seems as though the second phase of construction has begun.

Southern end of the project, at 19th & Vineyard

As we told you previously, the project is being built by MJL Properties, who did the condo conversion of the Calvary Church a few blocks to the south. YCH Architects did the design work, including this rendering of the southern end of the development.

Previously, we thought this was the north side. We wuz wrong.

As you can see, the development will, once completed, have a commercial component as well. And considering the rapid residential development in the immediate area, we’d guess that whatever business opens there will have no shortage of customers.

We’ll check back in here in a few months, at which point we’re guessing the entire thing will be built.
