Penn Treaty Park‘s inaugural Fishing Derby will kick off Shadweek 2011 on April 16 at 8am. There will be prizes for the most fish caught as well as for the largest fish caught and children are welcome to participate (fishing rods will be provided). We know the history of Fishtown’s name, but we hope for the digestive systems of everyone attending, all fish caught from the Delaware will be released back rather than eaten.
