Last summer, we sharing the exciting news that Federal Donuts would be opening a new location at 7th & Fairmount. As the months have rolled along, the folks behind this business have been hard at work getting the space ready for delicious fried chicken and donuts. Recently, a number of new windows were installed here, and the building hardly resembles the dollar store that previously did business here.
The building previously looked awful and unwelcoming. Now it's been given a completely different identity with large new windows and wooden window frames. With the facade now seemingly complete, we would have to imagine that the business will be opening in the near future. We'll see if we can't make our way to the grand opening. To, uh, make sure all of our readers know exactly what's going on inside as well as outside. Yes, not because we love donuts. Not at all.
