See the fence in the foreground?

Well hello, Inquirer Building.

Finally, construction appears to be getting under way at the 19-story former State Office Building at 1400 Spring Garden St. Purchased only recently by Tower Investments after about two years of waiting for the wheels of government bureaucracy to turn, this project has the potential to have as much of an impact on N. Broad St. as the forthcoming development of the former Wilkie Dealship. Fences went up a few days ago, and trailers are on the site. According to writeups about this project that date back a year or more, this project will include retail and residences and will be constructed in two phases. We’ll post more information on this project as soon we learn any. In the meantime, check this out:

Ooh, that’s a sweet looking building.
