Target Prototype Coming To Philly; Another Reason To Validate Leaving House In Pajamas

Target is opening a new 100,000-square-foot store in Los Angeles that will serve as the first of its smaller prototype stores, CityTarget. Philly is its next “target” for the same type of smaller-footprint locations, according to its site. The smaller (only in Target’s eyes is 100k square feet small) mini-Targets (meme Target-ino?) will sell mostly daily food and household essentials. This certainly will allow Target to expand to more central urban locations that couldn’t necessarily handle its normally massive addresses.  Its still too soon to report an exact Philly location.
