Target Prototype Coming To Philly; Another Reason To Validate Leaving House In Pajamas

Target is opening a new 100,000-square-foot store in Los Angeles that will serve as the first of its smaller prototype stores, CityTarget. Philly is its next “target” for the same type of smaller-footprint locations, according to its site. The smaller (only in Target’s eyes is 100k square feet small) mini-Targets¬†(meme Target-ino?) will sell mostly daily food and household essentials. This certainly will allow Target to expand to more central urban locations that couldn’t necessarily handle its normally massive addresses.¬† Its still too soon to report an exact Philly location.
