This Chestnut Hill 1855 farmhouse looks like something Hansel and Gretel would eat if they could, those gavones. The Wisteria-framed 100 E. Bells Mill Road is a two-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath and 2,536-square-foot $625K “cottage” we saw from Elfant Wissahickon that’s right near The Woodmere Art Gallery, Morris Arboretum and the Norwood Academy. Renovations on the address include new air conditioning, upgraded electric, a second full bath, renovated master bath, additional closet space, a second-floor laundry, lower-level dining room and new driveway. We like the stone walls and white wainscoting, although the stone tends to make the window-less rooms a bit dark, but aren’t a fan of the white floor tiles and cream-colored cabinets mixing in the kitchen. —-Caitlin Connors
