You may recall, we've been keeping you abreast of the efforts of the Passyunk Avenue Revitalization Corporation, revitalizing buildings on Passyunk Avenue ('natch). Back in March, we checked in on 1911 E Passyunk Ave., a property that was early in the stages of renovation at that point. This storefront had looked terrible as recently as the beginning of this year. Now, through the efforts of PARC, the building looks one-hundred percent better, and a new tenant will be opening up shop in just a couple of days.

The Passyunk Square Civic Association will be holding their annual neighborhood home tour on Saturday, November 5th from noon to 4pm. Once again, residents in the Passyunk Square area will have the opportunity to offer self guided tours of their spaces to the community. This is an event that takes place once every year, and gives locals an opportunity to support their communities while also getting the chance to take a peek into their neighbors' homes. The PSCA has kept die hard Philly sports fans in mind this year by making a point to schedule the Home Tours on a Saturday, so there are no Eagles’ game conflicts (the Birds play on Monday night this week, but still, good lookin' out).
