Landmark Architectural Design
(the guys behind South Philly’s Pretzel Factory) are working on the new six-story building at 241, 243 and 245 Market Street next to Lucy’s, which was recently purchased with new plans in place. We got Vincent Mancini‘s plans for the project from Landmark (not The Godfather), which includes a nine-car cobblestone parking lot (which will open onto Church Street), ground-floor commercial spaces, eight 1,500-square-feet condo units (the fourth floor has Juliet balconies) and a 3,000-square-foot penthouse suite with roof terrace in the 77′-high building. From the plans we can see the exterior will be stone veneer and the window-laden front of the building will be a sign of Old City treating itself to some new spring clothes (with Revolution House going in across the street). Groundbreaking is expected in the next few months.
