Max Glass, a consultant at JM & Company, is taking on his first big development project in Graduate Hospital. Glass, a University of Pennsylvania graduate,  has proposed the demolition of the existing building at 2149 Catherine Street to create a three-story building with commercial space on the first floor, offices on the second and a residential unit on top (perhaps for him?). Glass will need a height and lot coverage variance, and although he does not have a first-floor commercial space tenant yet, he assures the community it will not be a restaurant and it won’t be anything that is “counterproductive” to the neighborhood.
