Across the street from the abandoned Falcon Candy Company factory in Graduate Hospital is a block of 23rd Street ripe with new three-story roof-decked homes and freshly planted trees. Located around the corner from this factory on an empty corner lot facing the St. Anthony’s Senior Residence, Joseph Beller has applied to the ZBA to get a permit to build two semi-detached homes each with bay windows/balconies and roof decks to hopefully further more of this new construction trend.  2305 Carpenter, we are thinking, will be a natural progression of this area, especially given the 1,920-square-foot, three-story home with roof deck going for $419K at 2255 Montrose Street.
