With Fishtown to the East and South Kensington to the West, this neighborhood has lots of development taking place on both sides. And wouldn’t you know it, there’s plenty of development taking place in East Kensington as well. Home to some of the most interesting architecture in the city, East Kensington has seen countless vacant lots filled in the last several years. And with close proximity to the commercial corridor on Frankford Avenue, there’s not only nice places to live around here but lots of things to do. Oh, and the Berks El stop is very convenient for folks who live here.
